Painted doors

I have been wanting to paint our front door from the day that we moved in and this was the weekend that I finally got it done! Well, okay, so Joe and JoAnn helped out quite a bit. They came up this weekend, and if it wasn't for them, I never would have had the motivation to get this project done. Thanks, Joe and JoAnn! It looks so awesome!

This is my new door! What do you think?
We decided to paint the back door as well. Now it matches the trim on the rest of the house.
Just kidding! Here is the actual finished project. The pink was just the primer! But we had Jason and the neighbors panicking, which was pretty funny.
Our home! It just makes me so happy to see the red door.
Thanks again, Joe and JoAnn! The door looks awesome!
So be honest, what do you think of the door? Jason isn't so sure that he likes it, but I just love it. Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings.

Okay so I panicked too when I saw the pink and thought what are you thinking, girl? But then when I saw the finished product, I like that much better. It makes your house stand out and looks good. Congrats on the new door.

I love the red door! At first I was wondering how you convinced Jason to go pink, and I figured you and JoAnn had cooked up the idea, but I really do like the red.

I've heard that red is an inviting color and most interior decorators recommend red front doors! Good color choice!!

We just painted our house.. and we're going to do a red door as well. I love red doors, and yours looks great!

You really had me scared there with the pink though--I thought "Why would you let a 3 year old pick colors for your front door!??" LOL

You had me goin'!

I couldn't wait to show Keith the pink door and see his face and I was right it was really funny! You guys are brave! I don't know if I would have had the guts to do that. It makes your house stand out though and I like that, and if you like it that is what matters the most.
