Pumpkin Festival

Every Halloween there is a Pumpkin Festival put on by some of the businesses in town. The kids get to go and decorate or carve pumpkins, play a few games, eat some goodies, and get their faces painted. I personally don't like to carve the pumpkins because I think it's too messy, so I am glad that they have some stickers there that the kids can use instead.

Megan showing off her pumpkin. She did this all by herself while I was waiting in line for the face painting.

Fire Truck Rides

In October the fire department gives the kids in the community rides in the fire trucks. My kids love it and there is a pretty big turnout. If you don't want to spend an hour waiting in line then you have to get there early. This time we got there early and were able to get a ride. The girls loved being able to honk the horn and hear the sirens.

Getting ready to go.

All set to go!
