Goodrich Family Reunion

This past weekend we had a family reunion in Utah with Jason's family. His parents rented a cabin with five bedrooms and six bathrooms near Altamont. We had two private ponds near the cabin. The girls had a great time going for canoe rides and fishing with Jason and Grandpa Joe. Although it took a little bit of convincing to get Lindsey in the canoe at first. Both girls really enjoyed playing with their cousins. We all had a great time and it was so good to see everyone. It makes me really wish that we all lived closer together. Thanks for Joe and JoAnn, and Jody and Bret for planning such a great reunion!

On the drive to Utah, we saw these two big horn sheep running by the side of the road just outside of Thermopolis. I think that they were fighting when we first drove up on them. We got some great pictures of them.

Be jealous, Jeff! Do you think you could have taken such a great picture?
We stopped at the park in Lander to play for a bit while Jason did a little work. Such a fun park!
Sisters and best friends.
Playing on the tightrope.

I was really surprised at how well Megan did on this.

At the cabin, Lindsey got more birthday presents from Grandma JoAnn and Grandpa Joe. Here she is showing off her new "Neverland" movie: Alice in Wonderland.
A baseball glove and bat. You can also see that she got a pile of clothes! Thanks, Grandma JoAnn!
Eating birthday cake with Andrew.
Happy birthday, Little Girl!
Megan, Johanna, Andrew, Lindsey, Joseph, and Josh. Most of the cousins.
Jason's grandma, Nina, came to visit one night for dinner. Lindsey talked her ear off for about 30 minutes, but I really think that Nina loved it. Aunt Margie, Johanna, Grandma Nina, Lindsey, Megan and Grandma JoAnn.
Our family with Grandma Nina.

One of the activities that was planned was to do a shaving cream "do" on the dads. Each kid had a can of shaving cream, and we able to pile it up on Jason's head. Well, okay, Jason's legs and arms were more covered than his head, but we all had fun. Here is a bit of the aftermath.
As you can see, this activity got pretty messy, but easily cleaned up with a dip in the pond for Jason and some water for the girls.

You have such a cute family. Your girls are great! Looks like you all had a lot of fun and that Lindsey had a great b-day party.
