Four years old!

Happy 4th birthday to my precious princess, Lindsey! It's hard to believe that four years have gone by already. She is such a joy to have in our family. Her favorite things to do lately are color, play with Playdoh, and ride her tricycle. She loves to go to the pool and the park, and is becoming very confident in the water. She isn't quite to the point where she will put her head underwater, but I think she will be there before the end of the summer. She is also a very big helper and is going to be a great big sister to her new baby brother. She talks about how she is going to help feed him and change his diaper and rock him to sleep. Lindsey is very excited to be going to preschool this fall. I think that she is ready, but it will be hard for me to let her go. She is so smart that I think school is going to be great for her.

The night before her birthday I made cupcakes, and we had an impromptu birthday party for her with the neighbors.
Everyone wanted to help blow out the candle.

Lindsey and Megan couldn't wait to blow up balloons.

On the day of her birthday, we drove to Cody. We had another small birthday party with Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Lyle at Pizza on the Run. The girls love that place because of all the play equipment.

Good little climbers.

Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Lyle gave Lindsey a Toy Story drawing pad. She was pretty excited and has already gone through about half of the paper.
We gave her a portable dvd player. I think this was more for our sanity in the next couple of days than it was really for her. She loved it though.

Lindsay is so cute and it looks like she had a lot of fun for her birthday.
Congrats on the little boy, how exciting.
That is awesome that you ran that Big Horn Run. You had a super awesome time considering everything. I think that it is great that you are running. I want to do some races and just never seem to get ready. I think that it is awesome that you can do this and hope you keep running more.
