Tree climber

Lindsey likes to try to keep up with her older cousins Joseph and Josh. They were climbing trees, so Lindsey had to climb trees. I couldn't believe that she was able to do it, but she was actually pretty good! Until she fell out. Lindsey loves to visit Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Lyle because she gets to play outside. Alot. The only bad thing about her playing outside is that she ends up getting a lot of cuts, lumps, and bumps. She eventually fell out of the tree and ended up with a rash on her stomach. Earlier that morning, she was bouncing on the air mattresses with the older kids and hit her head on the stone fireplace. She has a great bruise on her forehead from that one and another bruise on her arm. She was also running around most of the day with shoes but no socks, and the result from that was blisters on both heels. Poor kid. You would think that she was abused with all the bumps and bruises that she has, but she sure did have a great time this weekend.

Her wonderful bruised forehead. This was taken a couple hours after it happened. Today it looks much worse!

Don't worry, if DFS saw Chase after he plays at the park, he'd probably be taken out of our home! Bumps and bruises seem to be the way of life when you're a little kid!

It's good that she's not afraid of things. She's going to make a good tomboy!

Gina, a bit of Great-Grandma Mackay's cure for bump and bruises. Use butter, or marg...or what ever you have around the house, sounds really funny, but it really works. Aply it on the bump were every it might be, it takes the swelling out, and it does not bruise,it beets holding ice on the bump while the kids cry. I don't know why or how come but that is what I have done for my children, grandkids, neighbors etc. Try it, it really works.

Oh that was a good bruise but I think you have a tough little girl on your hands.

We are sorry we didn't get to see you. But we had no idea there was a birthday party or Easter get together or we would have come. Looks like the kids had fun though!
